We try to keep our terms and conditions as easy to read and understand as possible, so please take a minute to look through them as by placing an order you are signifying your acceptance and are bound by the latest terms and conditions. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Stock Availability

All items advertised on this website are subject to availability. Many of the food items are supplied by small artisan producers and some times we have to wait for stock to arrive. Therefore once we confirm your order we will contact you to advise you on delivery dates.

Pricing

The pricing information contained within this website is in Great British Pounds and is as up-to-date and accurate as we can make it. However sometimes due to circumstances outwith our control we have to make changes to the products listed or the prices shown. If there is a change that will affect your order we’ll try to contact you to explain any differences and allow you the opportunity to decide if you still want to go ahead. If we can’t contact you then we’ll cancel that element of your order and refund in full any goods that you may have already paid for.

Where fresh produce is required to be cut will will endevour to ensure that you will not receive less than the minimum stated weight on the website. If we do slightly under cut then we will ensure that we over cut another item.

Paying for your goods

We use a 100% secure server-to-server system operated exclusively by the HSBC bank Plc.

We can accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards as well as Maestro, Visa Electron, MasterCard Debit, Visa Debit and Solo debit cards. To pay by card over the phone you must call 07887 832088 where your card details will be requested for input into the card terminal. For security do not email, text or use any other form of written or electronic messenging to pass on any information relating to your card details.

If you wish to pay by cheque then we would require five working days from receipt for clearance unless otherwise agreed in advance or at point of sale. If an issue arises with clearance then we will inform you and take further instruction on how you wish to proceed. Unfortunately we cannot offer an over payment refund where payment is by cheque, but where possible we will endeavour to make sure that you’ll be given the best deal we possibly can. Pleaase make cheques payable to The Deli Shack

Delivery and Packaging

We can only deliver to mainland UK addresses on a Thursday before 12.00am service which costs £6.95 inc. VAT postage and packaging cost for orders under £50.00. For orders for the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Republic of Ireland or overseas addresses please call or email us to discuss your requirements.

We use registered post to ensure that your overnight delivery can be tracked. If your parcel does not arrive on the stated day then please contact us as soon as possible. We cannot accept responsibility for failure to deliver on the part of our courier or delays caused through incorrect information being supplied. If you require a timed delivery please call or email us to discuss your requirements.

All of the chilled meat is sealed to ensure that there is no leakage and can be transported safely with other products from our range. All of our packaging uses chill packs and insulating material to ensure that the produce arrives with you in perfect condition. All fresh meat will arrive with at least seven days chilled storage life for beef and game and five days shelf life for pork, lamb and poultry.

At the point of order you will be asked for a delivery address and any special instructions. Please ensure that if you are asking for your delivery to be left that you instruct the courier to leave the package in an area that is easy for them to find. Ideally this should be out of sight and direct sunlight. Please remember that any package left for you without signature is done so at your own risk.

Cancellations

If we are unable to dispatch your goods within 48hrs you shall be entitled to cancel the order. Once your order is shipped you may not cancel the order.

Returns and Refunds

We take great care in the handling and packing of our products to ensure that they reach you in the best possible condition. If however any item is damaged or unacceptable at the point of delivery then you should notify us within one working day and we will make every effort to rectify the problem or give you a full refund on the affected item or items. In order to understand the problem and improve our service we may ask you to return the produce in question. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Liabilities, Websites and Trademarks

By using this website you have agreed to and accepted the stated terms of use. Your statutory rights are not affected. We will take all reasonable to keep your personal and payment details secure. Unless were are negligent we cannot be held liable for any losses caused by unauthorised access to your information by a third party or parties. We will however never knowingly divulge or pass on any of you personal or payment details to any commercial organisation or sole trader for any use what so ever.

We will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that all information presented on our website is up to date, safe to use and accurate. All errors will be corrected as soon as possible after we are notified or are otherwise made aware. We will not be held responsible or liable for any virus or bugs unless we are proven to have been negligent.

We will use all possible discretion where links are provided to other websites. These links are for your information only and we are not responsible or liable for any matters arising from the use of external websites.

All brand and product names are trademarks or service marks of their respective holders and should not be reproduced or copied without express permission from the rights holder.

Please note our total liability for loss or damage shall be limited to a sum equal to the amount paid or payable by you for the goods and that we are also not liable for matters arising that are outside of our control.

We are constantly developing our range through the introduction of new suppliers and produce, taking into account seasonality and regional specialities. We also come across interesting recipes from time, especially with the smaller producers where family cooking tips abound.
